This information is used to create your account and provide you with secure access to your health records as entered by your healthcare providers.

Sehati processes this information to support core medical workflows in compliance with privacy standards:

  • Healthcare Services and Management: Patients can securely access profiles, clinical histories, and lab data.
  • Diseases and Conditions Management: Patients can track their diagnosis and conditions managed by their doctors.
  • Medication and Treatment Management: Sehati enables patients to view prescriptions and treatments, helping maintain accurate medical records without scheduling or medication reminders.

All collected information is handled with strict security measures to protect both doctor and patient data.

Important Note:

The Sehati Patient App does not collect or generate your medical records. It simply displays the medical information that has been entered and shared with you by your doctor(s) through the Sehati platform. This may include:

All information is view-only, and cannot be modified by the patient.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

We do not analyze or process your health records for any purpose beyond display, nor do we use your data for advertising or profiling.

The doctors you consult through Sehati may access and update your health records, which are then made visible to you through the app.

Sehati does not sell, rent, or disclose your information for marketing or advertising.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • All data is stored on secure cloud servers (currently hosted on DigitalOcean or similar providers).
  • Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard protocols.
  • Access to the app is protected through secure authentication, including OTP verification and biometric options where supported.
  • Our infrastructure follows HIPAA-compliant security standards, and we maintain Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with all relevant partners.

5. Third‑Party Services

The Sehati Patient App does not share any patient-identifiable data with third-party services.

While the platform may use trusted services (e.g. for analytics or notifications), these services do not access your health records or personal details.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your health data shared with you by doctors.
  • Request deletion of your Sehati account at any time by contacting support.
  • Opt out of any non-essential communications by updating your preferences.

Please note: deleting your account does not delete medical records entered by doctors, as those records are governed by healthcare providers' legal obligations.

7. Data Protection

Sehati is committed to complying with applicable privacy regulations, including:

  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Union
  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) for health data protection

We continuously review and improve our security practices to align with current standards and legal requirements.

8. Children's Privacy

The Sehati Patient App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18 unless under the supervision of a legal guardian or authorized representative.
